What We Do
R.I.S.E. Scholars Inc. aids students in grades 8th through 12th in taking the necessary steps for post-high school endeavors, whether that may include college, trade school, the military, or entering the workforce.
We work with educators when developing curriculum and events. Our services are aimed at equipping students with crucial information needed to be confident and successful upon high school graduation. We encompass all aspects of a students journey including, professionalism, financial literacy and confidence building.

Our mission is carried out through our three focal points: College preparation, career planning, and educational wellness.
Our Services
Workshops
Workshops are dynamic educational events that occur once a month and most are hybrid (can attend in-person or virtually).
During our workshops, topics concerning career planning, college prep, and educational wellness are covered in an interactive experience. We have speakers and activities that enhance the lessons and engage students.
Volunteering
Volunteer events take place throughout the Jacksonville area, and occur once a month. Volunteering serves to expose students to inspiring and impactful messages, as well as build volunteer hours necessary for scholarships and applications.
These events are for students only (grades 8th-12th).

Mini-Shops
Mini-Shops are fully virtual events that occur 1-2 times a month.
During a Mini-Shop, we will cover more specific information such as FAFSA, Housing 101, gap/growth years, etc.
While virtual, this is a more intimate setting as some of the topics discussed are focused towards a certain career path.
Mini-Talks
Mini-Talks are conversations in the community with professionals from a variety of careers. Professionals will offer a detailed insight into their career path and the steps taken towards acquiring that career.
These are fully virtual events that occur 1-2 times a month. Students will be able to directly ask professionals questions in this intimate setting.
College Tours
College tours are an opportunity for students to visit schools in Florida and South Georgia.
